Last week saw the reveal of the ninth generation of Pokémon – Pokemon Scarlett and Pokemon Violet For Nintendo Switch.

Eagle trainers noticed how Official game site For Scarlet and Violet, mention how you will now be able to experience the “real joy” of the series by “fighting against wild Pokemon to catch them.” Here is the exact paragraph that was mentioned:
“Different cities blend seamlessly with borderless wildlife. You’ll be able to see this region’s Pokémon in the sky, seas, forests, streets – everywhere! You’ll be able to experience the true fun of the Pokémon series – fighting against wild Pokémon to catch them – now in an open world game that can be… Players of any age enjoy it.”
It sparked a lot of discussions on social media. While some players weren’t a fan of the new capture mechanics in Pokémon Legends: Arceus at first, many have grown to love them, believing it’s the only way to move forward in the series.
We also liked the new pickup mechanics – and applaud it as “addictive” Our Nintendo Life review for Pokémon Legends: Arceus. How do you feel about the next major games returning to the old ways of catching Pokemon? Did you enjoy the new mechanics in the last entry? Leave your thoughts below.
