Dead Space Remake is said to be so scary, even members of the development team struggle to play it.
In an interview with PLAY magazine (thanks, GamesRadar+), head coach David Robillard admitted that they struggled to play it at night with headphones on because “it’s so scary”.
“When I play it at night, I can’t play it with headphones on. It’s just too scary,” said Robillard. Just the amount of realism and, again, the atmosphere. Not just visually, right? In the way we approach sound, ambiance, effects, and having systems that will try to scare you.
“These things, you know, could have been done [on PS4]“But not at the level we do today,” they add, “and it really adds a lot to the genre and really makes the whole kind of experience come together more.” ”
ICYMI, legendary film director John Carpenter suggested it The Dead Space movie project is currently in development. Halloween Helmet has previously talked about his desire to make a Dead Space movie – and he’s now said that a project to get the survival horror franchise to the big screen is now in the works, though not attached.
“I’m a big fan of video games, so I played all the games,” Carpenter said at the time. “I was looking at the new digital cameras, RED, and I happened to mention to them that I would love to make a Dead Space movie. This one just went out, and everyone said, ‘Oh, when are you going to do that?'”
